Volunteers Needed For Christmas Gift Wrapping & Dinner Service
Volunteer To Wrap Toys
Each year Project WeHOPE and St Samuel Church join forces to collect and give away hundreds of toys to under-privledged children in East Palo Alto and surrounding communities. Volunteer for one or more 2-hour blocks to help us wrap these gifts. If you plan to also stay for the shelter dinner service, please select that volunteer option as well. The more volunteers, the more gifts we can wrap and give away to kids!
Volunteer To Serve Christmas Dinner
Volunteer to serve dinner at the Project WeHOPE Shelter and celebrate the holiday season with clients, staff and community friends and leaders. Join us and help us celebrate the holiday season, and help to bring joy to others.
As a volunteer, your responsibilities may include:
– Final setup of tables, chairs, and decorations
– Prepare food service buffet line
– Plate food and bring to the tables
– Walk around and make sure that all clients have enough to eat and drink
– Hand out gifts to clients
– Help breakdown and clean up at the end of service
Who can volunteer:
– Persons at least 14-years-old, and is able to do some light lifting
– And most of all, people who love giving back and helping others!
So, spend a holiday evening with us and the clients of Project WeHOPE. Come eat, drink, sing and be merry!
