Palo Alto – On Wednesday, October 14, wake up to “A Beautiful Morning” and join Project WeHOPE as they honor individuals and local organizations that have helped to make a positive change in the lives of the homeless in our communities this year.
The annual awards breakfast gala and fundraiser is free to attend, and it will be held at the Garden Court Hotel (520 Cowper Street) from 7:30-9:30 AM. The program includes food, music, awards presentation, update on the state of homelessness in our community and what is being done, and a keynote from nationally acclaimed motivational speaker, Michael Pritchard.
Award recipients include Bill Somerville, Founder of Philanthropic Ventures Foundation; Luisa Buada, Executive Director of Ravenswood Family Health Center; IKEA of East Palo Alto; The Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center; Karen Gitter of Whole Foods Palo Alto and many others.
Guests will also have the opportunity to learn and see Project WeHOPE’s newest initiative called “Dignity On Wheels,” the mobile shower and laundry trailer for the homeless.
While there is no charge to attend, this is a fundraising breakfast and we will be asking for donations. RSVP and reserve your ticket to this event at www.projectwehope.org/breakfastgala
