Project WeHOPE Recognizes 20 Graduates


On October 27, 2016, Project WeHOPE recognized 20 individuals at the Fall graduation ceremony for Supportive Housing Clients and H.O.P.E. Jobs certification holders. The event was hosted at St. Samuel Church in East Palo Alto, and our host for the event was our Assistant Director Alicia Garcia our very own. Our keynote speaker was Glenda Jackson who is from San Francisco and was formerly homeless in San Francisco as a child. The special guest was Project WeHOPE Board Member Irv Henderson who is the Fundraising Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Talech, who gave the opening and closing prayer, spoke with our graduates and expressed the gratitude on the behalf of the organization for their determination to finish and complete their enrolled program courses. In addition to certificates of completion, awards were also handed out for a variety successful characteristics and attitudes displayed while enrolled for their duration in their programs. A total of 31 certifications were handed out to the graduating clients who marched to receive their certificates.
