Annual Community Connect
Homeless Connect is a an annual collaborative event between Project WeHOPE and the San Mateo County Human Services and held at the WeHOPE shelter, where the goal is to offer a day of assistance, counseling and care for the homeless and those at risk of homelessness.
An average of 25 community and governmental agencies participate each year to help homeless adults, youth, families and seniors receive short-term assistance with food, shelter and medical care, and long-term assistance with recovery services, veterans benefits and employment services. Also included are on-site bicycle repairs, flu shots, haircuts, a hot meal and the county’s mobile health clinic.
If you are homeless or at-risk, we invite you to attend this special 1-day event to connect with service providers and employers in the area. Free breakfast and lunch provided for attendees. New this year: Have your legal case reviewed by a judge and DA for free. You must register by September 25 for your case to be reviewed.
